Tehtris raises 20 million euros to export its cyber incident detection and response platform

Tehtris offers an XDR infrastructure that brings together several cybersecurity solutions within a single incident detection and response platform. The Bordeaux start-up has just raised 20 million euros to conquer new markets in France and internationally.

Several solutions within a single tool

Founded in 2010, the Bordeaux company has developed “Tehtris XDR Platform” which brings together several cybersecurity solutions to automatically detect and neutralize “known and unknown digital threats” in business infrastructures, explains Tehtris. Its solution is used by “major players” in industry, engineering and services in over 60 countries around the world. Thus, each year, the platform analyzes “billions” of cybersecurity alerts.

The XDR (Extended Detection and Response) infrastructure, successor to the EDR (Endpoint detection and response), corresponds to a new approach in cybersecurity. It provides simultaneous visibility into data across networks, clouds, endpoints, and applications.

From the unified console of the XDR Tehtris Platform, cybersecurity experts can juggle different solutions according to their needs. Threats can then be analyzed, prioritized, tracked and remedied to prevent data loss and security breaches.

Telecommuting has amplified IT vulnerabilities

“The volume, velocity and variety of attacks repelled daily by TEHTRIS underline the growing need for automatic security of all digital entities with unified trusted supervision”, explains Eléna Poincet, co-founder and CEO of Tehtris. She notes that the spread of telecommuting and the migration to the cloud are amplifying IT vulnerabilities, as cybercriminals make their attacks more complex.

With this new money, Tehtris wants to strengthen its technical, sales and marketing teams. The company, which has more than 60 employees, announces the creation of several hundred jobs in 3 years, mainly in Bordeaux and Paris. It also wishes to conquer new markets in France and internationally.
